Surprising Benefits of Turmeric
Everybody
knows turmeric powder. It has been used in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine for
thousands of years. In south Asia, it is a popular curry cooking
ingredient. If we make a list of spice
crops, turmeric holds one of the top rows. Turmeric has multidimensional uses
to cure diseases.
Below are some surprising benefits and
uses of turmeric :
In stomach worms: Turmeric is one of
the names of antiseptic. Depending on the age, 15-20 drops of raw turmeric
juice should be strained and mixed with a little salt and eaten on an empty
stomach in the morning for 7 days.
In
case of sprains: If any part of the body is sprained, turmeric helps to get
relief. Take 1 part salt, 2 parts lime
and 4 parts turmeric paste in a pot and mix them well and heat. Apply on the injured area for 2-3 days.
Liver
defects: People with liver defects can eat turmeric for recovery. Mix one teaspoon of raw turmeric juice (5-6
drops for children) with a little sugar or honey. Follow the course once a day for at least one
month.
In asthma: Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric
powder, 1 teaspoon of sugarcane (sugarcane) molasses and 1 teaspoon of pure
mustard oil together well and lick it occasionally with the tongue.
Excessive water thirst: Many people are
thirsty for extra water. In this case, crush 5-6 grams of raw turmeric and boil
it in the required amount of water for 5-10 minutes.
To cure arthritis or inflammation of the
joints: Raw turmeric contains a chemical called cur-cumin. This ingredient
has anti-inflammatory properties. Eating raw turmeric with sugarcane molasses
every morning helps to cure the inflammation.
Cancer prevention: Modern research has shown that raw turmeric has
an anti-cancer effect called cur-cumin. Cur-cumin inhibits tumor cells from
growing. You will benefit by eating at least 2 or one piece of raw turmeric
every day.
To protect the liver and heart: Studies have shown that turmeric
contains anticoagulants, which prevent blood clots inside the blood vessels.
Therefore, the use of turmeric reduces the chances of heart failure.
To reduce cholesterol: Turmeric plays a very important role in
lowering blood cholesterol levels. People with very high cholesterol levels
must eat two pieces of raw turmeric every morning.
Caution:
(1) Those who have incurable liver
problems should eat turmeric as advised by the doctor.
(2) If lactose is intolerant,
turmeric should not be mixed with milk. In that case, except milk, honey, soy milk
or just a small amount of turmeric can be eaten.
(3) If you have skin
sensitivity, avoid using turmeric.
